Put a V-8 under the hood or trash some tires?
Most of the drivers of Japanese cares that I know like the HP/pound ratio of twin turbos vice that of a supercharger. Most of these guys are getting 450 horse from their V-6's even without going too deep into the engine. Those that have are on the far side of 500 horse and a few are above 600. That's just insane as hitting the acellerator going around a corner too hard will put you into a spin out. These guys are running drag race slicks around town ... and waiting to hit a patch of ice or a drop of rain.
On the VQ the twin turbo guys are gaining 100 to above 300 horse power, the superchargers are gaining just 80 to 120 but it's very linear with the SC's.
I'm looking at the middle road of a single turbo or a supercharger with a high compression ratio pulley. I don't want +450 horse power.
Even with just 310 horse I can smoke the ($260 each) tires if I turn off the anti-smoke computer
(VDC).
The drifting crowd goes though a set of tires each match.
That requires sponsorship.
