Looks like it will maintain its ugly looks of the current bodystyle.

Yuk!

I think the current design/sheetmetal is pretty good, no glaring weaknesses. The interior could use a little bit of work (specifically the rear seat areas of the Super and Crew cabs. Dodge has a system where the seats fold in a million different ways and even has a hard plastic storage shelf that folds out. It'd be nice if Ford has that, too).

Other than that, I can't find fault with the current Super Duties.

I just think the bodystyle is ugly.   Make mine a pre-1997.  The old square body was much better  looking than this stupid rounded thing they got now.

My family has had good luck with Ford trucks. We've probably got well over 1 million miles on the six or seven that we've owned over the last 35 years.

Well    over 1 million.

Are they going to keep the 6.0L for 2007'?

Has there been any confermation yet as to Toyota/Nissan Bringing a 3/4 Ton To the US market for 07?

Over 100k miles on a '99 F-350 with a Powerstroke diesel here. Still running on the original transmission (auto).

What does the four wheel drive use for suspension up front now?  Didn't they do away with the leaf setup in favor of coils, like Dodge?  And the half tons are torsion bar?

i dont see much change.  that being said...i'm no Ford fan, but those are really nice trucks.  The Fords have the nicest interior of any truck on the market at the moment, and their diesel is the one to have in my opinion as well.

They are all coils, and IIRC the new half ton uses coilovers/shock in coil. I know my 02 does

No. A new 6.4L twin turbo is widely rumored to be the new engine in '07.

Toyo is supposed to bring 3/4 and 1 ton trucks in '07 last I heard. They will have diesel, some have said it will be the navistar 6 that ford passed on.

They will be built in TX.

Looks to me like it has a few minor changes in the interior. The A/C vents, looks like a center speaker under the power point, cup holders in a different place, "Super Duty" on the dash, sterring wheel, boot around the shift lever........

They end up slightly changing the grille and back end every year anyway, that's why they're covered.

I'm ordering a 2006 F-350 CC 4 x 4 this week.

Tiny penis alert!

My workplace uses Ford delivery trucks.   One is just a few months old.  A diesel F450 Super Duty.

It hasn't had a splendid reliability record, and the 2000 F350 (gas) that's our other delivery truck
has thrown driveshafts on the ground at least three times so far and is on its fourth tranny.

I'm starting to think Ford trucks really ARE junk.

At the FD we have 3 Fords, a 2003 F350 Crew Cab diesel service truck, 2004 F550 diesel brush truck, and a diesel 2004 E450 ambulance. We have had to replace the turbos on both the brush truck and service truck.
