I just bought it before the fule prices went ballistic, I am getting about 20MPG but would like to try to get more.

I guess what i'm really looking at are inexpensive ways to increase fuel efficiency and power.

Probably Air induction mods are the way to go here, but don't know where to look.

Anybody?

Maintain everything on a regular basis.  20mpg in that seems pretty decent.
I'd make it a goal to not let it get worse.  Just keep it running good and change oil when due.
Don't overlook things like suspension/ bushings/ tires/ brakes/ ect.
Try a google search for your engine, there's alot of intake and exhaust mods for 4.0 sohc's.

OR you can go over to the darkside of 2.3's and Turbochargers...

Modding it will only make you want to drive it harder, hence burning more gas. Just maintain it. Mods wont really yeild much in mpg gains anyway. Not even worth the money they would cost in gas savings.

The best thing you can do is make sure the tires are inflated to the correct pressure.
