Well, let me see.
8 miles to work (one way) 5 days a week (8 * 2) * 5 = 80 miles truck gets 25 mpg. 80/25 = 3.2 gals. 3.2 * 3.00 = $9.60 per week But, now that I'm unemployed it cost me $0.00 to drive to work.  Oh, I bought gas at $2.89 per gal tonight.  Vulcan94 |

3 miles to work + 3 miles home x 4 days per week @ 10 miles per gallon (OOOPPPSSS, I forgot it was a company car) = $0.00 per ever, I hope.

100 miles a day. I get 36.5 mpg. so Its about $9.15 at $.3.39 per gallon.

Bike:
5 miles to and 5 miles from college 10 miles per day at 50mpg= 50 miles per week and 1 gallon of gas. 1 gallon of gas = $3.09 per week. Blazer: 5 miles to and from college. 10 miles per day at 10mpg= 50 miles per week and 5 gallons of gas. 5 gallons x $3.09=$15.45 per week. What do you think I've been riding recently?  Course this is all based on the theory that I only make one trip a day to school. There are days when I have 4 hours between classes so I come home. This is just a rough estimate. WIZZO |

50 mile round trip @ 16MPG = 3.2 gallons. (damn that 8 cylinder Dodge Dakota!)
Regular is $2.89/gallon here today, that's $9.25 per day.  I work 12 hour shifts so only have to drive it 3 to 4 times a week. |

19 miles round trip. ~17 miles : gallon in my 350c.i. truck 1 gallon = ~ $3 locally just about $3 per day.
