Very nice, to bad you live in an apartment complex, watch the doors. Also, those get pretty bad gas millage, around 12 and at 3.00 a gallon it will add up fast.
You live in an apartment but bought a gas-guzzling $30k truck?
Stop reading my mind....... Good for you, nice truck. This is ARFCOM, what would you expect? ///not posting pics of the wife's new Hemi gas guzzler..... |
living up here in northern VA its hard to imagine spending 400K on a house thats only worth 100K at the most. i just cant do it.
but the gas mileage is a killer but we have a civic to take long trips and use it for everything else. the truck is mostly for driving back and forth to work and driving in the snow up here. also when i move to texas i can tow everything down ther then use the truck as its intended for. |
Not many guys his age have the scratch to live in a nice house/condo in this area. |
thats true...im 22 so its hard to pay 2k a month for a house plus utilities and taxes and everything else. |
If you want to see what real snow is you have to be alot further north. |
and likely never will if they keep flushing $400+/month down the toilet. |
what is the need to pay for a house if im only staying up here another 2 years...thats just stupid |
People that aren't from NOVA just won't get it playboy.
400 a month.... I wish. Tripple that and you're getting closer... |
I think he was referring to the truck payment. |
Nice Ride!
Don't forget the obligatory 1st time 4-wheelin' pics. |
Maybe he was, maybe he wasn't..... I know that around here you need good reliable transportation to get to work. Lots of bodies, lots of reasons to cut bait on folks who can't get to work. So "wasting" $400/month on a car is OK if you have an $1500-$3000/month mortgage payment, but it's stupid if you are 22 and live in an apartment? Not many people I know have always lived in an outright paid off house.......think the "attacker" has? |
I never said otherwise. The guy can spend however much he wants on his vehicle. It's none of our business how he chooses to run his finances. Frankly, I think it's rude to shit on the guy's choice to buy this truck in the very thread where he's showing it off for the first time, ESPECIALLY when he specifically asked for no trolling. I was just pointing out what I saw as a misunderstanding. Nothing more, nothing less. |
Lighten up, Francis. It's called a conversation/discussion. I think he was errantly referring to the payment for an apartment rental in NoVA. So there.... |
Fixed it for ya. People that ain't there don't understand it's actually smarter to rent right now than to buy in that area. It's not a uncommon sight to see BMWs and even the occasional Porsche parked in front of an apartment building in NoVa. Damn nice truck man! My buddy just got one that looks about like it and he loves his. |
Very nice... BUT... The Suburban Assault Vehicle will STILL out tow it!!! |
Oh and BTW, my dad has a GMC 3500 with the 8.1 V-8
THAT will outtow afplayboy's Titan and NW's SAV. |
+1. |
I don't know kid... I've got a 3/4 ton 454 with the towing package... it'd be a fun tug of war!!! |
Exactly. You should be able to live a little if you are 22. |
Yeah, but my dad has a 1 Ton with a pintle hook! and he tows bobcats and asphalt crushers and stackers all day long. So there |
Ok... |
Let me cut thgough all the previous BS and say..........congrats on your new truck.....I have a Tundra, but I think had I not the Titan would be on my short list.
Life is short....burn as much gas as you can.......drink a bunch so that a doctor will want to keep you alive, as opposed to keeping it nice and fresh, ideal for a transfer........same for red meat, dammit STEAK, make it what's for dinner..........raise a little hell!!!!! |
Nice truck bro, and don't let someone from FL or IL get to you. Unless they've lived up here in the past 5-7 years they don't have a freaking clue about what they are talking about.
damn, for a second i thought it said "nissan titan sex"...nice looking ride!
that has yet to be tested. |
Don't mean to pry, but how much did that cost you? Did you get any discounts?
i got a little over invoice price with all the options basically. it was either $2500 rebate or special interest rate + $500 rebate. well they gave me 9.99% interest rate if i took the rebate. its obvious that i didnt take an almost 10% interest rate so i took the special rate which was 3% + $500 rebate. |
Nice truck - I like those a lot.
And folks, the only people I know in their 20's who actually OWN a house (or more likely, a townhouse - which is still 400K) are married law school grads with both working 60+ hour/week firm jobs and who have minimal debt. |
Damn you that is the truck i wanted except in the Le with the rockford speaker system.
Nice Truck man! |
i would have loved that rockford system...that would have been awesome. i checked out atleast a dozen titans and there wasnt a single one that had that. they must have either sold out quick or not had any up around here. |
you got it |
Damn. I thought 17's were big!(what my mom has on her TrailBlazer.)
i had 15s on my civic so you can imagine how much i like them
well i'll say this. i had a crx before i had my civic. the crx had around 65hp, the civic had 127hp. the titan has 305hp...it pushes me back in the seat, the first time ive experienced. |
Nice truck! It's what I would have purchased if I wasn't so deep into the payments of my 2003 Nissan Xterra SE-S/C
Enjoy your truck, afplayboy18! (Looks like it would be kinda expensive to insure... )
