After some research I've decided that a 2017, or 18 Honda Ridgeline is the vehicle for me. I would like to add a 2in lift kit to give it a little more clearance, and was wondering if
it would have any adverse effects. Does it compromise the way the truck stabilizes itself? Should I just leave it be? Thanks.

You might already know this, but the Ridgeline is a unibody vehicle, so traditional body lift kits will not apply and you'll have to actually raise the suspension by getting longer dampers and springs.

A Ridgeline is pretty far from the kind of vehicle you lift. Being a unibody, as mentioned above, it'll be a royal pain and likely mess things up if you lift it. No offense, but the idea is kind of silly. Buy a Tacoma if you want to mod a 4dr truck. It's actually a truck, and is body-on-frame.

Traxda.

Found it with google. Seen a lifted one here the other day and it looks gay but not rainbow unicorn gay.

Just fundamentally less badass.

What are you doing with the Ridgeline where extra ground clearance is needed but its AWD system is sufficient?

I didn't know they made lift kits for Accords.

Exactly what I was thinking.

Minus the ol' school cred.

You'll get plenty of results by changing your google search terms to lifts for Odyssey minivan.

The thread responses deliver the perfect mix of "I wouldn't do it" and "OP's truck is gay".

Traxda is the only option at the moment and 2 inches is it.

So ARFCOM has spoken. My Ridgeline truck pick is GAY!

I don't know much about trucks, and my logic behind the Ridgeline was, a little bit of truck, a little bit of off road, and comfort for long road trips. (According to reviews) Of course
I can't get one now thanks to you fuckers. Maybe you saved me from myself.

This afternoon I checked out a used 2014 FJ Cruiser (Quicksand) with off road package. There's a tan Tacoma TRD on the lot not far from me. I'll go check it out this weekend.

If you like the ridgeline get the ridgeline. Your the one driving it no one else in this thread is.   They are supposed to be comfortable and should be reliable, every other Honda is.

Your two new choices are just as much not trucks in my opinion as the ridgeline. If you aren't going to get a ridgeline at least get a half ton.

As long as you understand that its essentially more mini-van than truck, and you're ok with that, go for it. Don't call it a truck around GD or many truck owners. One look at (or for) the frame will end in your ridicule.
