Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Polaris Ranger Carb Kit ?

I have a 2004 Polaris Ranger 500 that needs the carb rebuilt. I have let it sit for the last few years and the crappy gas has taken its toll. I intend on doing the rebuild, but am not sure what brand of kit to buy. I am looking for a good quality and comprehensive rebuild kit. I see quite a few listed on Ebay and Amazon, but I don't which brand to get. What brand(s) have you used with good success? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Make sure you buy the proper one for your machine. I've rebuilt two carbs. Make sure you remember the exact settings for the choke and throttle controls. Clean everything out with lots of carb cleaner and reassemble. You have to completely assemble the intake system before running the machine. If you don't, it will not run properly.
