I think using the term "whip" for a car is about the stupidest thing I have ever heard. It is on par with "brodozer", and IMO screams "look how small my balls and penis are!""
Now if you had said "My Car. What do you think?" I would respond that you have a nice ride! |

I thought this was going to be about those whip things I see on some motorcycles. Never heard that term for a car. Around here we use trendier terms like "car" or "truck".

People who drive "E Class'" do not refer to their cars as "whips". I suggest you head to the nearest "Fast Credit, Easy Credit" car lot soon to be fitted for an appropriate 'whip'.

TC ETA: Oh, and, Florida wins again. It is a w205 c300. Not an E. There have been many of them getting pistons and rods already. The C class is made in Alabama now. Early units had some issue with a plasticizer leaching out of the upholstery necessitating the replacement of virtually all the seat cover pieces and a few others. They sell well, but have a few interesting issues. Leaves and junk accumulate under the hood for one... |

Mercedes Benz recently released a nine speed auto. Hopefully the launch won't crash and burn like the seven speed did.
I made a lot of money on those, but it was frustrating for a few months because there simply was no fix for them for a while. I'd tell the owners to be patient until software was released and repairs became available for them. Rumor has it that Mercedes management was so pissed about how poorly things went that they fired the entire engineering team responsible for that massive clusterfuck. Which is why it took a few months for things to get straightened out. I wonder if they reminded the new guys of this when they set out to design the nine speed.
