Enough of the truck gun talk. Let's see those AR15's and Jeeps.

Mine's a 14.5 Colt LE6920 , Aimpoint PRO. KAC RAS, TLR-1s. Stock 1981 CJ5 Renegade, 4 speed, 4.2L V6 76K original miles. Yes, I pulled it out of the garage for this pic.

Not sure about Texas, but just how are you securing that weapon in that easy-to-break-into and no-where-to-hide Jeep?

Jeep guns - the category doesn't exist for a reason.  THe only guns in my Wrangler are CCW.

I got a smittybuilt security center console. That's what I use for when I can't CC my G26. Fold down the windshield and drive the ranch roads, you can blast through what would be a windshield!

I have a Tuffy under seat lock box for when I'm going somewhere that I can't carry.

They're expensive, but well worth it. I've had them almost a year now with no issues and there are folks who've had them for 3+ years on Wranglerforum.com with no complaints at all. They're made of a very sturdy fabric ( I.E. dog claws won't phase them ) water proof etc. This video will prove to be more useful in my explanation. Bartact used to be called Trekarmor FYI.

Sure those aren't from a catalog shoot ?!

They look really nice, especially for covers with a year's worth of wear.

Thanks for the pics and 411, They are definitely the way I'm going to go, much better looking than the Smitty Built Molle seat covers.

When you buy  the covers, the fronts come with 2 small bags and the rear comes with a large bag to throw stuff in. Have not installed them yet, as I just use the zippered pockets in the covers themselves.

I have the Trek Armor seat covers, company became Bartact.  If you call them directly to order, you can get different stitching and usually get a bit of a discount.  The stitching costs me about $60 more but the discount pretty much covered it.  It also takes a little longer for them to ship.  I got mine in about 3 weeks.

I got Black with graphite insert and red stitching.

I know some people don't consider them to be 'real' Jeeps, but I picked up an '06 diesel Liberty.

I wish I could figure out some useful way to hide an AR and a few mags in it without making it impossible to get to, and without running afoul of any ordinances about loaded mags being too close and accessible to the AR.

Some day......
