Seen it on a Jeep, didn't look too bad. But IMO, I think it is a dumb idea.

I have a friend who rhinolined his whole Suburban. The guy at the body shop was like " you wanna do what?!" haha. it actually looked ok. It was done in a dark red color. It was in pretty rough shape to begin with though

I know a guy with a line-x f150. he scrubs it with a deck brush, looks good.

theres a newer Silverado around here that is Line X black. i wouldnt do it but to each his own. i bet its easy to clean though.

I wouldn't do Rino.
I had my entire truck LineX'd. I like it over all but hate the attention that it gets. I had them match the original paint on the outside and then did a black bedliner. It's durable for sure! Mine has been through hell and still looks good. There is one mark down the side where I bumped into a cart coral in a grocery store lot. Other than that, no marks at all. If you do LineX, make sure that you get the LineX Xtra. It has the UV stabilizers in it and won't fade. To do my entire truck cost me $2200. They told me that it should add about 300 lbs to the truck. Based on how much heavier the hood is, I think that's a pretty good estimate. |

The best compromise that I've seen was doing it up to the bottom of the windshield. It gets most of the benefits but saves some weight overall.

the weight is the issue stopping me from doing it. i just had my n-fab bars done and its awesome.
im sure someone will come up w/ a solution to the weight issue eventually... |

I know a guy who did his Dodge Dakota. Looked like shit before hand, rough shape.
Looked like shit after, just a little less shitty. |

It's an 04 dodge ram 1500. While I was at Lowes someone made about a 3 foot long gash down the side. Deep, all the way through the paint.
Yes I went and had them check the cameras. I was parked in a blind spot... Insurance deductible is $500 so not really worth the coin to me for just a touch up, and I do off road a bit so there are plenty of other minor scratches but this one is bad, and motivates me to do something about the whole truck. |

Lower half of my FJ60 is done and has been on there for years with no fading. I like it.

I wouldn't rhino it, I think line-x would hold up better. Also I would try to follow a body line, instead of the whole truck. I'm looking at my '05 ram, and trying to figure how i would follow that line. On my'99 durango I had the front and rear bumpers done after a kid whacked one of the bumpers. I loved it.

My last 2 trucks have had the rocker panels lined. One was Rhino Liner and the current one is Line X. I can't tell a difference between the two. Both are great.
I would line the whole truck, if it didn't cost a fortune. The added weight is negligible, IMO. |

Usually ends up looking like crap. Seen a few, some were two tone.
2 days ago I saw a Hummer H2 with step bars and tube bumpers with the lower third of the vehicle done in tan/drab roll-on bed liner.

If only it weren't a NFA regulated item... haha We do bedliner here at the shop I work at. Most the time if we do it ouside of the bed, its just the rockers and lower doors MAYBE 12" up. Is there a certain reason you're wanting to do the entire vehicle? They will add a lot of weight, but in my opinion, they look pretty BA when done. Sometimes they look good, other times not so much. depends on the vehicle, color, etc. |

Just for more visualization, I also have a Boondocks 85 series front bumper, I'm considering doing it myself with a roller at this point. 2k seems to be the going rate for it to be sprayed
