If anyone has the ability to run a Carfax report free of charge, please shoot me a PM.  It would be appreciated.

i go on the local car dealer website, look up a vehicle and run carfax on it. It's an option they have, retype the vin, and  there you are. don't know if that will work for you, i've done it in the past.

Soldier65,

might you have a link to the website you use?  The couple of dealers I've used around here don't have the option for manually inputting it.  I thought I'd try to save $35 by asking here first, but I'll pony-up the money if I can't get one by tonight.  Thank you.

Great thread, I also need to run a Carfax if anyone has access to an unlimited usage subscription.
