G2 tamer Pro Grip grips Mirror riser + extenders Convex mirror attachments TechSpec tank grips These were done mainly to improve ergonomics and rideability. I can actually use the mirrors now. |

Ural wins!
My Concours has a few...most people wouldn't notice the best ones. A buddy of mine owns a machine shop that makes a ton of stuff for Murphs'. I got to be the guinea pig for some of it. KB bar adapters (got rid of the clip-on bars), KB fork brace and highway pegs (nice stretch for a bad knee or 2). Larry Buck dash shelf with a couple of RAM mounts for the radar detector and I-phone Hella FF50 driving lights Givi trunk Home-brewed universal Vista Cruise set up Tank Bags for every occasion... Clearview GT windscreen and Holeshot exhaust... 
And a nice grainy pic about two minutes before I set off on an IronButt.

You could upgrade to real LED blackout drive lights, I'm not sure why you'd really need them though but they're much smaller than the light cover you have on there. The US uses only 1 per vehicle, but the Chinese appear to do it properly with 2 in the front. It's the NATO-compliant blue-green color. |

I wound up selling her in order to purchase this bike from a buddy... 2006 Triumph Sprint ST 1050

You will either love or hate the Corbin seat. I Loved mine on my Goldwing. Corbins are really LOVE or really HATE. One thing I can say about mine is that it really fits my ass. Completely supports my rear, which is good. The stock seat felt like I was sitting ON it rather than IN it. The only bad thing about the Corbin is that it is FIRM - thus why if it doesn't fit you well, you'll probably hate it. |

Thanks for the confirmation. As far as the Corbin goes...I'm willing to try anything over the stock seat. I've done two long-ish distance trips with the Sprint, one was 900 miles, the other was 1100, (in less than 36 hours). The first trip was brutal a couple of hours into it. Seat was killing me. The second one I wussed out and bought a gel seat pad. That made all the difference in the world. So if the Corbin will work for long distance trips, I'm all over it. I started a thread on the Triumph Forums about choosing between the Corbin and a Russell Day Long. For the money, guys that had owned both reccomended going with the Corbin. Nick |

The camo it came in wasnt quite right I thought. All I have on below is the rack, spare, ammo can, spotlight, shovel and gas can. and whatever goodies are in the trunk at any given time. not too accessorized.. could use some tacticooling

Got a new farkle on the way... should be in my hands on Wednesday... then I have to plan some time to do the install.
What farkle you ask? CRUISE CONTROL. No, not a throttle lock device, a real bona fide cruise control! I'm sure I will LOVE having it, especially on long trips. I've read a few discussions about it and everyone that has one really loves it. Cruise should be standard on any touring bike... I mean heck, it can't be THAT difficult to implement at the factory. |

I dont really consider it to be a "farkle" but I switched out the rear sprocket for a 44T. It reins in the jerkiness of the paralell twin 650 and makes 1st gear actually usable. |

Not much on mine yet.
The previous owner put the following on it. Bar end mirrors, Heated grips Fly screen. and an Alarm, that I don't have the remote to, the the company isn't making alarms any more, at least for a while. So that is worthless. I have a Bags-Connection bag that should be showing up tomorrow.

I'd really like a motorcycle specific GPS... that doesn't cost $600+
When cheap yet functional units at WalMart cost less than $150, I don't think waterproofing and some external buttons should make the cost quadruple or more. I can do without the XM radio and bluetooth functionality... all I want is GPS navigation. I've tried to use my phone (Droid X), but the car mount I bought loses the power connection when it gets vibrated, causing the phone to freak out. |

You are right on the accessory prices... But I did bite the bullet and took off all my NATO crap (ammo can and fuel cans) and replaced it with good quality Russian gear :)

nice exhaust! I must have one, better clearence and it looks sweet. I wish someone had come out with a r75 style 2 to 1, just like everyone else I guess I didnt notice your tank was different, howd that happen? The box will fit a pocket pistol like an LCP, maybe even a makarov :) I had gas in my Ural fuel can the weather changed from hot to cold and copressed it.... I should have kept the lid less sealed tight or something, oops just a heads up unless they are now vented. I suppose i can pop it out the same way though.. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

The Garmin Nuvi 500 (and 550?) are both waterproof, dust proof they're only missing Bluetooth and you can pick them up for around $200 I use one for both of my motorcycles which both see plenty of very rough dirt / gravel roads and water crossings. |

I have a Nuvi 205w. I also just picked up a Nuvi 765T about a month ago for under $200. Its definitely nicer than the 205. The traffic feature doesn't really help me around here but on trips it might be nice. The blue tooth is cool but I don't really use it. I got it because it actually has a headphone plug so I can plug it in to my bikes sound system like I did with my old Mio. If you plan on using it on the bike and want to hear your directions look for one with a headphone plug unless you plan on using bluetooth.

Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile Mine is a 2005 Patrol - no toolbox. The exhaust, bench seat, crash bar, and bumpers with skid plates are part of the "Adventure Package". It was an add on that they brought about 3 or 4 of into the country back in '07 or '08. I managed to grab one. The exhaust is a 2 into 1 which I do enjoy. I figured that sinch it crossed into one I would do away with the crossover pipe. I got some j pipes off a 650 and had them ceramic coated. Been working well ever since. Ive been keeping the gas cans pretty full trying to avoid the cracked cap or the bulged/sunken cans. Thanks for the heads up. I cant wait to get back on the road this weekend and enjoy this weather! I got a Garmin 26xx (or maybe it is a 27xx) which is a weather proof unit. I picked up a refurb unit on ebay for $100. Then got the motorcycle kit for another 30 or 40. It may not have the bells and whistles of the new ones but it suits my needs (ie cheap).

I found a TT920 on fleabay for $100 that's got all the same features as the Rider unit (bluetooth, mp3 player, turn-by-turn), etc. You think those features aren't that special, till you have them. Having the ability to listen to some tunes and then have your directions spoken (instead of looking at the GPS) is pretty damned nice when travelling. TomTom's are much nicer units than Garmin as far as the GUI and routing, but they do have an annoying downside which is the screen isn't super bright can make it hard to read in real bright sunlight. As for map updates, well, there are ways to get stuff.  |

Suck, bang, blow supplied by an SE intake under a stock cover, lightly cammed 103ci through SE slip-ons with Hard Kore Quiet baffles. Ergonomics are handled by a Mustang to sit on, forward controls to rest my feet and stock Standard Softtail bars to hold on to. A set of cheap, faux-leather bags, lay-down license plate mount, chrome belt cover and control covers and a little bell given to me by someone that gives a fuck fill out the list. For traveling the rear bags come off and a detachable sissy bar/ back rest and large T-bag are fitted. (Half-assed phone pic taken a couple of hours ago. )
