Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - I need to buy overhaul parts for a VW WBX: where?

I've a 2.1 "Wasserbox"  (water cooled pancake engine) for my '84 Westy: Where is a good place to order rebuild parts?
From what I've found so far there are three or four brands offered for bearings, with prices from really cheap to very expensive: What should I use or avoid? (ie: Kolbenschmidt, Mahle, Glyco,...)
