Title says it all...my current Visa dumped its loyality scheme, so its time to find a new one.

It needs to be Visa or MC, because I use an Amex as my primary card, and there are many places that don't take it, hence the MC/Visa.

Any suggestions?

I dont have one close so I normally get ammo.  The 1% one I use now I get a check though so I have more options

My Citicard MasterCard gives me 5% back on fuel - so that's all I use it for.  Pay it off in full every month, and I have earned back almost $50 so far - the minimum you need to get a refund check cut to you from them.

ETA:  Think of it as getting .11 - .15 off of every gallon of gas you buy.

I like Discover.  I think it offers the best deal.

YMMV

Of course you want MC or Visa so Discover might not work.

May not be the best, but I do the Fidelity Rewards Visa through MBNA(or whoever they are now).  I have a Fidelity account so it's pretty painless for me.

I have Citi Dividends and I believe they drastically reduced the program rewards as of November of last year.

Another +1.

You get 1% back on everything else.

I found I was hitting the $300 max by about August, so I had my wife get another card under her name.  I put all of our utilities on it (phone, DSL, sat TV, etc.) and told her to always use it for groceries.  Now we usually get the full $600 back each year.

I haven't noticed any reduction in benefits.

Citi Dividend Platinum Select

Earn 2% cash back on purchases at supermarkets, drugstores, gas stations, convenience stores, and utilities including cable, plus 1% cash back on other purchases with this credit card. Also enjoy no annual fee, travel benefits and much more.

Still not bad, but it's not 5% anymore.

The NRA offers a card. The payback is not great but some of the profit goes to the NRA.
