Just got of the phone with remingtons military division. They have decided to change how they handle sales of m24s.

For those not in the know, it was almost impossible in the past to get an m24 without going through an approved wholesaler (when they could get them, and if you had the cash they wanted), but this is now a thing of the past for military members looking to purchase an M24SWS.

Now, if you are in the military, and don't mind sending them a copy of your mil id they will sell you an m24 directly (transferred thru your ffl of course)

The woman on the phone quoted me about $2900 for the 7.62 rifle by itself (w/out scope)

of course you can get a 7.62, or 300wm, in a complete deployment kit, with just a scope, or just by itself.

I just figured i would share the information here, because i know more folks than just me would like to get one.

You can occasionally get a Remmy 700 with the 5R barrel.
But as I understand, only through Accu-Sport.

Wonder if they are trying to make up for the sales they are probably going to be losing to the M110 SASS. Assuming it's fully adopted.
