Ok, I'm in between deployments right now.  Before I left, bought a bunch of those tacky lapiz handled knives from the bazaar, and shipped them home.  Gave them out to friends, etc.  I heard through the grapevine that they are banning folks from shipping these knives, or you have to go through a goat-rope with the PMO and fill out a ton of paperwork.

Anyone in country now that can confirm?  My buddy just grabbed me a couple more and don't want him to get in any trouble trying to drop them off at the post office.  Thanks.

Last time I heard (w/i 6 months or so) the blades had to be wrapped (to prevent possible injury/poking through the packaging).

Just had some guys ship AR mags and bows and they had to go registered so worst case IMO is registered mail which isn't a big deal.
