im confused....


im running xp on one of my laptops.  i have my admin acccounts and my limited accounts.  i can't figure out how to change it so it will NOT let the system go into standy mode.   its turn OFF on the admin account.   i have even pressed shift and right clicked on the power options,  but it still holds the old setting of power saving.    (im wanting to accomplish this under the limited account )

help

this is a standard install of xp pro.


you can't change any settings when you click apply it says access is denied

crazyness.

i logged into the admin profile added, the user to the admin list.   logged out then into the limited user.  and it had the same settings as the admin account.  

removed the user from admin list.   stayed as the admin profile settings,  JUST the way i wanted it
