I don't believe that CDMA phones use sim cards. Just GSM. You could probably use it to dial 911, but without a carrier you won't be able to place normal calls with it.

Doesn't necessarily have to use a card I just want to be able to activate it to
use w/ a pay as you go service. Although it does have a spot for a card, I suspect that this is just leftover from the GSM version of the phone. |
