Total double edge sword.
Say you have bought a music CD and it is sitting in your house. You're on the road, and want a copy of a song on the CD you own to play on your I-pod. Now since you have already purchased the CD, is downloading a copy of it from another source illegal?
Better question is you paid for a down load of a song, is it illegal to burn the song to disc to listen to it in your car using the CD player.
Or the even better question, you are listening to station cast, and burn the music to disc/the hard drive for your own entertainment only at a latter date. If the CD/stored cast is only used for your own entertainment, is this still an illegal.
Granted that I can see the stand point of the loss of revenues from the recording/artists regarding P2P downloads, but on the other hand, it does seem that until they get it to the point that you pay per each listening of the song, they won’t be happy.
