Sooo....I have installed XP Pro several different times on various HDD in my main machine. I THINK (dangerous activity, there) that I have the Sata1.5 RAID the way I want it, but now, just after installing and partitioning the new 300 gb pata drive, I glommed onto a Sata 3.o at a real good price from Newegg....I also notice they have XP x64 (oem) at a decent price...Hmmm..what to do...
Anyways, here's the question: at the current time I have only ONE Windows installation running, but on boot up, the BIOS prompts me to choose from one of three..How do I get rid of these "artifacts" left from old installs.....short jumper J1 to clear CMOS? Flash the BIOS? Both?
Bonus Point Question: Is XP x64 any improvement (like $140 worth) over standard XP Pro?
Also, I'd like to "Pre-Thank" Cruze, AdairUSMC, Dizza and Robbie since they always help everyone in this forum so much and I'm almost certain they'll be right on this...
