Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - anyone have MySQL skills?

need to figure out how to run a query on some objects that have the same ID but different values.
This mostly pertains to Tivoli Endpoints that are logging in to a server. Ex. endpoint with an ID of PC1
logged in on 2/7/06 and 2/8/06. I need to return the last login time. Any help is greatly appreciated. Can also use MS access if I have to.

what are the table name(s) and field names?

from the mysql prompt, can you run

mysql>show tables;

and then run

mysql> explain <insert table name here>

then post the results?

Tivoli is IBM backup software, right?
