go to the control panel.   then mouse properties.   there should be an option to hide the mouse while typing.     when you move the mouse again its where it was last

i think im understanding you right  

edit.  some laptops partiucarly hp's   have a button above the touchpad to temp disable the mouse.  my dad  would always say while he was typing the mouse would sporadically move around.  he ended up taping a business card over the touchpad.  and using a ps/2 mouse.
