I upgraded my motherboard and cpu.  When I started the computer up for the fist time it started booting up normaly, but stopped about half way through.  I got a blue screen message about windows having to be shut down.

I'm assuming the OS (XP) is having trouble with the new cpu.

Can anyone help?

You will need to install windows again. You have surverly altered your system's configuration and thus it doesn't have the corrent drivers or configuration for the motherboard installed.
