What is the trick to getting these to work, I downloaded them and they try to connect but nothing is happening. Nothing I search for comes up. I downloaded Azareus, Ares, warez, and bitcomet and cant get any of them to work....

There's a few that aren't commercialized like DC++. You could also use DC++ to create your own little community. For example if you had 10 friends who you wanted to share your latest (legal of course) BulletFest video or something, you could hook up that way.

I'm on ARFCOM right now on this PC. I only have the firewall that came in the SP2 from MS installed. Is that it? S.O. |

that is a software firewall yes. it can block certain filesharing programs too. but when it does it notifies you. The first time you opened one of the programs did the windows firewall come up and ask to "continue blocking" the program or let you unblock the program from accessing the internet??
other than that i have no clue, i stopped using the filesharing programs when they started sueing people |
