I'm having PC troubles and I'm pretty sure I need a larger  power supply.  Running an Athlon 2100, and currently 5 hard drives in the machine along with a CD/DVD drive.

How large of a power supply would be best, and any advice on what kind (brand) to get?  Noise is an issue as well, I need something that's not real loud.  Thanks.

I ahve the Vantec ION in mine. I like it and it does what its supposed to. But with 5 HDD's I would look for maybe 500w since your getting a new one. Always better to have more than not enough.

OCZ power supplies - no other PSU comes even close.  Gotta love their adjustable power rails.

OCZ ModStream 450w, modular design

OCZ PowerStream 520w

Plain OCZ PowerStream 420w from Newegg

450w ModStream from newegg

For that fanless antec wonder you beter have lots of other fans in the box to move air otherwise you will cook it, trust me.   Antec is a great PS though.

Some good recommendations, though hard drives don't really take up a whole lot of power.  Typically 10-20 watts as they start up, and 5-10 watts during their usages.  So 5 HDD's could be 100 watts as they start up, and 50 watts during normal usage.
