Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - How can I change DVD's from PAL (zone 2) to NTSC (zone 1) when copying them?

I'm making copies of some cartoon junk for my little kid but they are from Europe.  My copies are also coming out in the same format and will not play on the household DVD player.  I'm using Nero.  Anyone know how to convert these to play in North America?  Thanks for any help.

dvdfab can remove the region encoding, and the macrovision and the allow you to skip ahead on screens that it normally won't let you, like fbi warning screens
