I keep getting this http://www.stopguard.com/?aid=vtstop&lid=doomredir hijacking my screen, and it's really starting to piss me off.
How do I kill it ???

I don't even want to go to that website... Most likely you have picked up a Virus or some 'spyware' that hijacks your browser. Check for viruses by using the 'Housecall' tool at: Trendmicro Then, check for spyware with Ad-Aware: Ad-Aware Hopefully, that will nuke the little bug causing your problem... |

For the Ad-aware part, after you install it, make sure you do the "check for updates now" process before running smart system-scan.

Download and install Mozilla Firefox or the Opera browser. They're better looking, faster, safer and chicks love them. Seriously the frickin Department of Homeland Security has asked you in the name of national security to get rid of Internet Explorer (yeah they really did that) - what are you a communist?

Spread the word brother, spead the word! I use Mozilla on my Linux machine and Opera on Windoze. I do keep IE around for the rare web site that requires java or activeX - like Microsoft update or the AR15 photo server. |
