When I open the browser and start to type in a search term a Logo for a vender I use infrequently shows up where the padlock symbol normally shows up.  The vender is B&H photo.  This on a tablet running Android.  Why am I getting a vender logo in my search bar?  When I go to a website, it typically shows the padlock. It's just when I start typing anything into the search bar.

When I open a new tab there is a circle with an 'i' in it. As soon as I touch the search bar that disappears and the bh photo logo shows up.

You may have set them to your default search.
Mine displays the duck duck go icon when I tap mine.
