I use a VPN on all of my devices and plex remote access wont work. If I turn my VPN off, it will work. It does not matter which VPN server I am using, it refuses to work with a VPN on.

All I use remote access for is mobile photo uploading. That is not a resource hog.

ETA: I enabled port forwarding on my VPN and I chose a VPN server that allows port forwarding. Working now.

I will only keep port forwarding and remote access on once a week as the network is slow.

When I was using PIA I had to specifically pick the servers that allowed Port Forwarding. It worked great after that.
