Getting spammed and computer is running alarmingly slow. This "virus" is called sexpatriot and is attaching itself to and changing my web browser. It also inserts web pages into my favorites.

I have deleted history, cookies and temp files. I have also downloaded Spybot Search and Destroy, Ad-Aware 6.0, and Stinger. I have also run Windows Washer numerous times. After each new program, I try to restart the computer and each time the virus re-ataches itself.

HELP??

If your running XP you'll need to turn off the restore feature before cleaning ( under system in your controll panel.
