Canon's cheap $85 50mm lens
I was pretty impressed.

Well I bit the bullet and just ordered one from B&H.  Needing to do some shots of the Daughter and her Cheerleading squad in the gym during competetion.  Figured this is the cheapest fast glass I can afford at this time.  Besides, by signing up to be on the photography committee, I got back $160 we paid into the fees. So I'm still $60 ahead
This lens was $75 three months ago. What happened??

Here are a few more pictures for you all with the 50mm 1.8. From what I read it is suppose to be the best at 2.8. Anyway I hope this helps.
