I've done a lot of googling but not finding much. I'm looking for a way to video and take pictures through either binoculars or preferably a scope using either a gopro or cell phone. Looking for inexpensive or DIY ideas to do it. We do prairie dog shooting every year and thought it be entertaining to get some video.

The word you're looking for is digiscoping.

The mount above would probably work well if it fits your phone. Do a bit of research using the above keyword and you'll hopefully find something useful.

i modded a 5mp wifi digiscope for a microscope to work on my spotting scope

its pretty cool, multiple people can watch the feed on their phones and record the action

I imagine it would work the same for tele or spotting scopes, but a buddy of mine 3d printed a mount for his iPhone to work with his pvs-14. Could probably do similar for pretty cheap too.
