Nice one!  I really like the low key lighting.

About time there was a photo sharing thread down here in the Photography forum.

Here's one of mine from last year.  Shot in the Great Sand Dunes National Park, Colorado during sunset.  Shot using a Nikon D600, Samyang 35mm F1.4 lens and HiTech 2 stop graduated ND filter, along with a linear polarizer.

This small image doesn't do the photo justice.  In the large size print, the sand grains are seen individually, looking like little colored diamonds.

I need to take a ride down there again this summer.

Great shots so far guys!

Here's another from last year.  This time, from Chaco Canyon, New Mexico.  My nephew, brother and I took a week long trip drifting around the four corners and had a great time.

We were laying on the ground, watching a decent meteor shower when I took this photo.  I'm not sure where the orange lighting came from as there are NO settlements or any city near by.

Taken with a D600 and Samyang 14mm F2.8 lens.  Shot at F4 for 25 seconds at 6400 ISO.  Processed with Nik Capture NX2.

Thats Fajada Butte in the background (the one with the sun dagger on it)

Here's a shot taken a couple years ago during a solar eclipse.  This was taken around an hour after the near total eclipse as the sun was setting.  The neat thing about this photo, is you can nearly make out the complete lunar circle.  Must have to do with earth shine on the non lighted side of the moon.

Taken with my Pentax K20D and Russian Tair 300mm F4.5 preset lens, no filters.

Finally got out to shoot with the large format camera again. It's been at least a month since getting out and doing some photography.

Anyway, here's one I shot yesterday while out hiking.

Foma 200 at 120 ISO developed in Pyrocat MC for 8.5 minutes.  Zone VI 4x5 and Fujinon W 125mm F5.6 lens.

This is all three kenko tubes and a reversed 35mm.  Flash is the ultra cheap Neewer 750II.  (It's really hard to take pictures like this...)

That's a good one!  Brings me back a few years, I used to use the same setup, but with a 50mm lens.  If you put a diffuser on the flash, it helps.  I know it is very hard to get correct focus this way, as you have to move the lens back and fourth minutely to get focus.  A lot of fun though!

Just finished drying this negative.

Sugar plant in my home town. I used some front tilt to focus on just the train cars and buildings.

Taken with a Zone VI 4x5 and Kodak Ektar 203mm F7.7 lens. Shot on Foma 200 film rated at 120 and developed in Pyrocat MC for 8.5 minutes.
