Question for you all:
Does this seem typical? I am exporting a quick video I edited in Final Cut Pro, using the Compressor utility. The video is 12 minutes of footage, with source material all coming from my Canon 5DII.

I exported using 'HD for apple devices', which creates a 5Mbps m4v file. This took 2 hours and 47 minutes to render.
I am having similar results using the 'SD' setting.

Computer is a MacBookPro 2.66 i7, plenty of RAM, no other programs running.

I've ripped video on this machine before using different programs, and it went WAY faster.

Thanks!
