Is using the remote and nunchuck at all like using a gun? What does the "pointing"? Which button is the trigger? Are the trigger and "pointer" on the same hand?

The control scheme is excellent, i played it and will be grabbing my copy tomorrow. But as far as whether it is "gun like" or not, no, i dont  think it is remotely gun like. But that shouldnt sway you at all.

Know also that the PC version is absolutely worthless. It has no mouse support out-of-the-box and the add-on mouse mod doesn't help much. Character and gun movements overlap and make the thing impossible to play.

Yeah, the Wii's version is most excellent.  Definitely on the "must-play" list on the Wii.
