BF2--Got promoted to Staff Sergeant, but not really?

Both last night and today I got messages while in game that I've been promoted to Staff Sergeant. My global score is 5,228 as of right now, but it still shows me at the lower rank, just with the progress bar full and my score next to it. Also, I've gotten two badges, a knife badge and a purple heart, while in game but when I go to my profile they aren't there. What gives? How long will it take to update?

For some reason the BF2 stat tracking system is running reallllly slow. I got veteran knife and re-supply yest. morning around 11:30 am. They just showed up on my stats around 12:00 pm today.

I got Expert knife last night and it still hasn't shown up yet.

I had my best ever game score and it is still not showing up. It would suck if I lost it.

ETA: I updated just now and the stats are now up to date! Just slow I guess. :-)

Yeah, it just updated me. I picked the Barrett sniper and PKM. Went on a public SF server just now that was playing Surge, climbed the construction crane, and went on a 13-0 rampage before the map ended. They never figured out where I was, it was glorious.

Of course now I want an M95 in real life. Maybe I could settle for a 99?

On the bottom of the BF2Tracker page is a link to click to update your stats immediately. It is right underneath history of last 31 days. Under that is a date that shows the last time bf2tracker udated and then a link to udate your stats right away. Here is a picture so you can see what I'm talking about. Hope this helps.

EA's server must've been busy last night, took about 12hours for my update to show. You should be fine.

Damn....I want to play again.

Can't use the left hand well enough yet, and I can't duck fast. I suppose i could get my commander score up though.

That is what we are talking about. There are times that "update now" does not get all your current stuff in.

For me it was almost 36 hours from the time that I played until I got an update, even when pressing the update now button. This was the reason we were concerned.

I appreciated it, I didn't even know that button was there. The prob. wasn't with the tracking websites though, it was with BF2s/Gamespy's tracking.

I'm just glad to know that the scores were not lost.
