Its been awile since I played any pc games.
Now I am looking for a PS or xbox or whatever the good ones are that can hook to a tv.

Could you tell me what is the good to get box is now and are there any good shooter games that I can do two or more players on?

Definately get the xbox.  Though the xbox360 is coming out next month, its still going to be expensive, but you can get xbox's for $150.  PS2 sucks donkey balls, especially for first person shooters.

Doom 3 (I know it has online co-op and deathmatch, dont know about offline)
Brothers in Arms - road to hill 30
Pariah
Unreal Championship
Unreal Championship 2
Unreal 2
Rainbow Six: Lockdown
Rainbow Six 3
Half-Life 2 (dont know about multiplayer on the xbox version, and doesnt come out until next month)

those are just the games off of the top of my head.  Supposedly they are making Battlefield 2 for the system as well.
