The fierce fighting on the Horn of Africa today between elements of the Chinese 3rd Army and French forces ground to a halt after news reached the front lines that a nuclear bomb had been detonated in Brazil.
The latest reports say the device was an airburst over San Paulo. It is not known how high the casualties are, or what the damage is, but hundreds of thousands are sure to be dead, with many many more injured.
Claiming responcibility for the attack, the revolutionary government of Argentina, previously known as "The Sons of Peron," released a statement today stating that Brazilian strong-arm dominance and oppression over the South American continent had lead to this attack and that conventional forces were streaming through neighboring nations on their way to invade Brazil.
Both EU and Chinese leaders have condemned the attack and offered humanitarian and military aid to Brazil in the wake of this disaster.
Meanwhile, Canadian and Japanese peacekeepers have launched a pre-emptive offensive in Southern California from UN bases in the San Fransisco Bay area against Federal forces, with the aid of local militia and resistance units. Coordinated militia attacks out of dozens of resistance-held cities across the US took place in support of the SoCal operation. This marks the heaviest fighting in the United States' three-year-old civil war, since last December when pro-resistance US Army units smashed their way out of a Federal encirclement in Denver....
