so your saying its impossible to go from skinny fat to skinny fit??? like the medifast magicaly kills your ability to working while on medifast and after it? thres no reason to poopoo on this thread, it was about tips and tricks, not about if YOU feel its the right diet for everyone.
No offense, but there very well may be reason to poopoo on what appears to be a fad diet with questionable long term effects. 800-1000 cals a day, as the program appears to call for is not sustainable for anyone approaching average w/o killing your metabolism. While the effects of phytoestrogens found on soy in males is not really conclusive, it
is best to get your nutrients from variety of sources - and except for the one "lean and green" meal (the only really good thing I see about the program - you'd be better off eating that sort of meal 3-4 times a day with a few snacks), nearly all the protein is from soy, as noted, and immediately obviously by all the "vegetarian friendly" meals.
Further, this does not really promote a healthy lifestyle. The only way to do that is to learn how to eat "real" foods in a healthy, balanced manner. Taking a packet someone else constructed that has an ingredient list a mile long and mixing it with water doesn't really further your nutritional education, hence the tendency to yoyo back once one gets off of this sort of program, multiplied by the fact that you'll likely have a depressed metabolism if on it for any length of time.
