I am getting rid of my weight bench because of lack of space (getting married).  I wanted to know what a good workout would be to gain and maintain upper body strength without a bench press.  I will have some 20 and 30 free weights for curls still.  Any input would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks.

BTW, if anyone is interested, I am selling the olympic bench  / weights and a dip / pullup station in the EE for cheap....

Go to GetFitNow and StewSmith.  There is a lot of simple workout information there.  Almost all of it centers around Navy SEAL type fitness training, but it is applicable to those who don't want to spend a lot of money on weights or memebership to a gym.

I'll second the Stew Smith recommandation. I've got his "Special Ops Workout" book and I like it.

As for upper body, pushups ( and the many variations thereof) should be enough.

I liked Combat Fitness by Matt Furey.

www.mattfurey.com/conditioning_book.html

Buy the book for 29.95, it is all you need.  The rest of his products are really pricey.

I still lift though.  Got the same problem, no room for the weights these days.  So I joined a gym.

I did his workouts for 2 months after a shoulder injury last year, great stuff!
