We are looking for some kind of cardio machiene to put in the rec room. I've got bad knees & need some kind of low impact machine but want to really get a good cardio workout.

What kind of cardio machiene should we bee looking at & are their any differences in brands??

I'm sure there are newer, lower impact versions of the Nordic Track, but my dad {quintuple bypass} uses it and it was recommended for him by his surgeon.

They make some that are on oval tracks vice straight track, but not sure who they are...

Have you ever thought of using a speed bag for cardio?  I think this would be the easiest on the knees and the most fun.  Probably less expensive than any machine also.
