Let me define strong for this story.  I am not strong in the strength training world but strong for an ave 40 year old.

Helped some neighbors move a piano.  Had two guys on one end and me on the other.  The two other guys were huffing and puffing and having a hard time with the weight of the piano.  I just picked up my side and walked right out with it.  Took a deep breath, chest up, lock in the spine and walk.  No problem at all.

Squats, deads, presses for the win.

Been doing the barbell lifts since last year.  Sure wish I has known this 20 years ago

Fact:  Being strong makes you harder to kill.
Fact:  Being stronger makes you more useful as an individual.

We are the antithesis of everything that current culture deems a quality.

Good for you MI.

That's why we workout.

"Can't help you today bro, I did deadlifts yesterday and my hammies are smoked.  Today is active recovery day."

Best reason for not owning a van or a truck. Everyone asked you to help them moved.

Just be a dickhead all the time and no one will ask you to do anything.

For sure OP.

I'm only 145#, but am fairly strong for my size.

I recently ordered 2 EDPM ( rubber) pond liners from Amazon, and they were roughly 75lbs each.  When the UPS guy pulled into my driveway, he asked me if I needed help carrying them, and I said "nah".  He was like "They're 150lbs!?!".

I just picked them up and walked the distance back to my garage. lol

Some people are just pathetic.
