For what it's worth:

My wife is a Nutritionist, Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Educator. I doubt she'll be registering here anytime soon, but if anyone has any questions in those areas, I'll run them by her and post her responses.

She's the one who hipped me to the fact that heart disease kills more people than guns in America every year by a factor of [b]20[/b]!

Ban bacon. Do it for the children! [:D]

Yes sir, but please wait to ban bacon until AFTER I have my bacon cheeseburger for breakfast in 3 hours. [:D]
Edited: Speaking of which, check out the thread about proteins.  I have been getting a good amount of protein from the cheeseburgers and the bread, but I now have a question about whether it is the right kind of protein.
