Ok I figured I would start up a new thread, since people seem to have either lost interest or gone into hiding!!!

The information for this is all in the News Forum including costs, features, and information about how we're going to progress.

Keep in mind that nobody will [b]LOSE[/b] any site functionality they already have, and in fact we're expanding the amount (and type) of information that's available. Members (or contributors) will get extra tools and abilities to make their lives easier. (See the full write up for more info!)

Anyhow, I think I have gotten 2 emails and seen a few posts from people who are excited about this. I should probably be getting the first of the checks today (if I can make it to the mail before heading out to Ohio!) and am ready to upgrade accounts as soon as I return. (Again, more info on immediate functions as well as what's upcoming in the full write up!)

Feel free to discuss or support this here, and expect to start seeing some members next week!

The new web site should be up in testing mode next week as well and if things go well (YES, I EVEN FIXED NUTSCRAPE PROBLEMS!!! (As fast as IE now!)) then it should replace this site soon afterwards.

Nothing will be lost, your logins remain the same, your post counts remain the same, your personalities will be unchanged!!! I will start cleaning out some dead accounts (people who have never logged in!) and writing up some info on the next series of upgrades once this site is in place!!! (YES MORE WORK FOR ME!!!)

Questions or comments will probably go unanswered while I am gone, so get them in before I leave!!!

I would love to contribute.All the entertainment value,knowledge,experiance and just plain fun I've had on this site,plus the money I've saved(with the sometimes good advice)makes it a bargain.Amigo.

This is one of the great things that life has to offer. If we did not have this website, what would our lives would be at this moment? I will be great to contribute on a small scale. Anything that will allow this website to become more kick ass would be a major plus.

Oh the procedure now is I hit the mail 2x a week and upgrade accounts 2x a week as well. Email accounts are created when memberships are upgraded so when ya see the pic show up in yer posts, yer good to go! I have been so busy I haven't had the time to respond to many emails quickly or to notify members who usually know they're set before I GET to my email.

Hi All, its been a while since I've been here... So please clarify for a numbskull like me... what do I get for my $60 membership?

I've been a member for almost 3 years now (counting the old board)... all I want are my original 2400 posts credited to my account. Yeah, I've whined about this before... there's got to be a way to do it.

Apologies for not being around last night, had to see what the world looked like for once!

We went out shooting which was a nice change of pace from being locked in the house coding. I actually spent the day with Ed going over business items such as ISP, hardware, and architecture for the future.

If you haven't heard, check out the NEWS FORUM, great news about FINALLY picking up a new ISP (we need to finalize a few things to ensure the quality of the service and contract terms, but we're eager to sign and complete the process.) This means more BW, more freedom, more stability, and 24 Hour ACCESS within 15 minutes!!! (2 hour drives suck!)

I will upgrade accounts tonight and try to contact all the members via email so they are aware of the changes. (You guys usually know before I am even done!)

Oh and one last item, a big one. Looks like mail services will be getting a MAJOR upgrade for members. I will finalize things and post about them, but basically we're hoping to provide you with a FULL EMAIL ACCOUNT. This means no more forwarding only. You'll have a web access tool, dedicated mail services, pop account, the works!!! I'm very excited about it, and like I said will put up a big post about that, and some upcoming items of considerable interest!
