Has anyone tried one of these?  It uses CO2 to actuate the slide while dry-firing.

Wondering why they couldn't have built the system to use compressed air so you could use a shop compressor to recharge the bottles..?

Not enough pressure. Your shop compressor is typically 150 to 180 psi max. I'm guessing this needs to be closer to 1000 psi.
