I'm curious what you guys would be put into a range bag trauma kit.

I recently ordered the LA Police Operator Patrol Bag LINK for use as a range bag and I intend to use the center front pocket as the trauma pouch, marked with a red cross patch.
I paint-penned a red cross on the LA Police bailout bag center pocket and have an Izzy bandage in there. (this reg bag is too small for the range and will become a trunk bag).

At the moment I've got a two-part kit:  trauma and basics.  The basics will live in one of the mesh pouches in the lid.

As you can see my trauma section needs work.  I'd like to get in a clotting agent but not sure if sponge or powder, probably sponge, but then which brand?

Israeli bandage
Two pair nitrile gloves

This is a pretty good list. Key things listed would be tourniquet, chest seal (Halo), pressure dressings (aka Israeli) and especially some type of rehydration powder/mix with warmer weather upon us. Not sure I would go with the aspirin since it has a tendency to inhibit clotting… something you would not want in a possible trauma situation.

Not totally sure what you mean.

The trauma is one thing, the basics another.

The trauma is for trauma alone, the sort of thing appropriate to make time for higher care.

The basics is just that, the basics.  Sort of like a mini medicine cabinet for a papercut, a brass burn or a headache, the things much more likely to happen at the range.

The ouchie bag vs the trauma bag.

I usually have an older North American Rescue Products CCRK Squad Kit in my daily driver, and just set it next to my range bag. So far, the kit has only been used on me by me to splint my broken leg.

Trauma = No ASA
Medical = No ASA unless Chest Pain, however ASA is helpful but Intervential Cardiology(Cardiac Cath) is the Gold Standard.
