All the guys who run a local match are up at a sectional this weekend, so no match.
There is an IDPA match nearby. I've never shot IDPA. Next weekend doesn't have a match either. Should i shoot the IDPA match as practice or just run drills at my club? |

Shooting matches doesn't do nearly as much as actual, deliberate practice. |

I am finding I do more draws, transitions, and splits in practice than I do at Level 1 matches. More movement and stage planning in matches though since I do not have an outside range.
