No power limitation for telescopic sights for NRA/CMP match rifles now. What do you think? Have we gone too far? Just right?

How often do 800s happen?

I expect the usual learning curve with Offhand wobble and parallax, clean rapids, but issues with mirage at 600yds.

The NRA has indeed gone too far.  This rule change will single-handedly kill metallic sight shooting in competitive shooting.  No one new coming into the sport will ever shoot irons.
