plain fake and it doesnt fold...its a solid piece of plastic/polymer.

no link to any that are readily available...if i did, id have them on probably most of my AKs to be honest....i love it, and am looking for another one or two to purchase.

FSE had their first run of these made of aluminum....but they were easily bent/warped/destroyed/damaged....later models were made of polymer/plastic and are much more durable.

wish I could assist in providing a source.

eh, its not there cause of recoil....

slippery plastic on your shoulder, or a rubberized material?  I have it on there so its no-slip when shooting/shouldering...its MUCH more secure/solid..rock solid.

Quick question

Was that built by you from a parts kit, or did you by the gun as is? I am considering getting one after seeing that.

Too much talking! Back on track:

I have it on my wasr2, it has held solid as both a handguard and an optic mount. It's very painfully obvious it's not a true picatinny rail though.

Also my AR.

It's a two piece rail system, one doesn't work with out the other.

If you mean my 870 then I got the entire gun used.  It was a Washington State police gun.  I know that Pheonix Arms in PA has some of them but I don't know if they are for sale.  I can put a feeler out to one of my contacts there if you want.  Send me a PM if you want me to try.  BTW that stock is murder on your cheek.

The ATI stock is composite or plastic if you'd like.  Might be a better way to go considering how hard my metal stock is on the old cheek bone.

3rdStreet- no it is not a dragunov although it is stamped on the receiver as such.  It is infact a ROMAKIII or a PSL.  Think AK on "roids"

Just need to figure out whats up with the damn grip sitting 1/16" off the lower

Is that a Larue stealth upper with a FSC556 comp? Looks great either way.

As far as that grip not sure what the problem is there. I have the same grip on one of my others and it fit on snug. Some blockage somewhere maybe idk but that would drive me nuts just looking at it lol
Link Posted: 10/23/2008 6:49:45 PM EDT
[Last Edit: Dosmac] [#45]
Yup,

preban SGW (oly arms) lower
larue stealth 16" upper with 10" handguards
Trijicon TA-31F ACOG 4x with reddot on top
Troy/Larue folding ironsights
FSC556 comp/flash hider

The grip problem is purely visual, it just looks weird. I'll hit it with a dremel when I get the time.

(And yes, I'm a lefty!!)
THANKS chapperjoe for helping me SO much with my first build, as well as the rest of ARFCOM!!
