Many people expressed concern for my son a few weeks ago after his incident so I thought I would keep you posted.  He had a second seizure yesterday.  Very early in the morning, still snowing, no plows had been through the area yet, over a foot of snow on every road.  This is all just killing me...

I don't mean to bring anyone down.  Please just think of my son.  It is breaking my heart to see him go through this and to see him suffer all the pain at the hospitals.  This is his second febrile seizure in a little over three weeks and there is no discernable cause of infection in his body that any test has revealed.  He just doesn't deserve this.  Please just think good things for him.

You and Yours are in our Thoughts, Always .

FMJunkie, our thoughts and prayers are with you.

If you can't find a cause, consider bringing your son to a big teaching hospital in NY like Columbia Presbyterian or NY Hospital -- they may be able to find the cause.  If there's anything I can do to assist please IM me.

My thoughts and well wishes are with your child and family as well.

When my son had his first febrile seizure we took him to a pediatric neurologist who was affiliated with the New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Medical Center pediatric neurology department. You might want to give them a call and see if they can give you some advice or a referral to someone closer to you.

Hang in there Rob.
Nothing hurts more than watching your child go through anything that hurts them. As parents we would gladly take their place. Place it and pray to God about it and all will work out.

Prayers being sent up for your family.

My daughter suffered a Febrile seizure at about 18 months....stopped breathing in my wife's arms...
thank the Man upstairs I was home at the time and was able to administer mouth to mouth to get her going again....she was blue as an eskimo's arse!  Someone was watching over.

Enough to scare the bejesus out of ya and make yur hair go grey

we rushed her to a nearby Hospital w/ medics, and they did the whole 2 day workup....never found a thing....

she's 11 now, and a healthy as a horse kid!

My thoughts are with you sir, may all things work out for you and your family.
